Church Tithing Software Accounting Features
- Use fund accounting principles fully integrated in the RDS Advantage software.
- Track up to 10 million revenue accounts for 1 million designated funds.
- Interface with RDS Advantage General Ledger software to eliminate double entry, and with RDS Advantage Bank Reconciliation software to reconcile cash accounts with monthly bank statements.
- Generate Due-To and Due-From entries between funds and/or bank accounts to balance each fund when cash deposited to a bank account or fund is “due to” to another.
- Use optional envelope numbers
- Record and report contributions (tithes and offerings) and pledges (faith promises, tithing commitments, etc.)
- Retain pledge and contribution information indefinitely, compress previous years into summary form, or purge old information completely.
Church Tithing Software Contributions Entry & Posting
- Track tithing and pledges for every church revenue account from any contributor..
- Record designated contributions and tithing, including “Benefits Received” and non-cash contributions.
- Identify and enter church contributions by individual id, name, or optional envelope number.
- Automate data entry using a check scanner or a check imager, which also prints the church’s deposit endorsement on the back and retains an image of both sides of the check for future reference.
- Transmit check images to the bank automatically to eliminate depositing the physical checks by the church
- Process authorized church-initiated EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) contributions according to NACHA protocol utilized by the RDS Advantage software.
- Use “recurring contributions” to enter EFT contributions once, but to post them and transmit them to the bank on a regular, church-determined basis.
- Accept contributions downloaded from the RDS Advantage church software’s Virtual Village web-based Contributions & Payments module.
- Group church contributions into entry batches for data verification but consolidate them into one deposit to the church’s bank account.
- Use software to generate a deposit slip
- Export contributors’ contact information, for mail merge purposes.
